πŸŒ±πŸ• Newport 4th Graders Experience Learning Beyond the Classroom! πŸ•πŸŒ±

Newport Elementary 4th grade students recently visited the LEAF Project and had an amazing hands-on learning experience! Students learned about the seed cycle, participated in farming activities, experienced the hard work farmers put into their fields each day, and even discovered how plants can become delicious foods like oven-fired pizzas! πŸŒΎπŸ‘©β€πŸŒΎ

This unique opportunity allowed students to take what they learned in the classroom and experience it firsthand on the farm. From getting their hands in the dirt to seeing the seed cycle come to life before their eyes, students were fully engaged in meaningful, real-world learning.

A huge thank you to the Newport Buffalo Foundation for once again funding this incredible program and continuing to provide our students with enhanced educational experiences that connect classroom learning to the outside world. πŸ’™πŸ’›

What a fun, engaging, and memorable day for our students! πŸ‘
