Capital Area Head Start (CAHS) offers a pre-kindergarten program to children from ages three to five. These services prepare children and families for success in school and life. Preschool programming is designed to increase children's literacy, cognitive development, social-emotional development, as well as support health and well-being. Every child receives comprehensive services, including educational, medical, dental, nutritional, and family support services.
